Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly coat a baking sheet with cooking spray. (5 minutes)

02

Step

Place the salmon on a separate baking sheet lined with parchment paper and sprinkle with cilantro, garlic salt, and pepper. Coat each side of the tortillas with cooking spray and place on the prepared baking sheet. (5 minutes)

03

Step

Place tortillas on the top rack of the preheated oven and salmon on the bottom rack. Bake tortillas, turning them periodically, until crispy and golden brown, about 12-15 minutes. Bake salmon until it flakes easily with a fork, about 15-20 minutes. (20 minutes)

04

Step

While the salmon and tortillas are baking, prepare the black bean puree. In the bowl of a food processor, combine black beans, hot sauce, chili powder, and cumin. Process until smooth or slightly chunky, depending on your preference. (5 minutes)

05

Step

Spread 1/4 of the black bean puree onto each crispy tortilla. Top with avocado slices, cherry tomatoes, and flaked salmon. Garnish with green onions, radishes, salsa, and a dollop of sour cream or Greek yogurt. Serve immediately and enjoy! (5 minutes)

For extra flavor, marinate the salmon for 30 minutes before baking in a mixture of lime juice, olive oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
To make the tostadas even more exciting, add a sprinkle of crumbled cotija cheese or a drizzle of lime crema.
Feel free to experiment with different toppings! Corn, grilled bell peppers, or shredded lettuce would be delicious additions.
